Matsue campus students;
Center for Educational Research and Development
Presently, Shimane University is asking students to as a rule avoid entering campus and study from home after May 7, in order to prevent further spread of COVID-19. However, we will allow partial access to a part of Matsue campus’ facilities (PC rooms and classrooms with internet connection) to those who are not able to ready the equipment and internet environment required for online classes at home.
We will accept additional application from May 8 (Fri.), besides the previous application which was due on April 30. If your application have been declined before, you can apply again this time.
However, the number of seats and computers we can offer is limited in order to avoid making these rooms crowded, closed and close-contact setting. Your kind understanding is greatly appreciated that we will not be able to grant permission to all applicants.
Also, refrain from applying for this permission if you are able to take online classes at home. This is to secure facilities for those who are truly in need of them. Note that your permission may be declined if you provide false or misleading information in your application.
If you need to use the university facilities to take online classes, please file your application via the link below or QR code and complete the online form. Once you get permission, you will be notified of the details at a later date.
Application Period Friday, May 8 to Wednesday, May 13, 2020
※We may possibly accept applications again after April 30 after reviewing the demand.
